USA tehnoloogiagigant Intel loob 125 miljoni dollarilise investeerimisfondi, mis hakkab raha paigutama naiste ja vähemuste juhitud idufirmadesse, vahendab AP.

Uue fondi ebatavaline fookus on rahvusvähemuste esindajate juhitud ettevõtetel. See on osa Inteli juhatuse esimehe Brian Krzanichi laiemast püüdlusest muutmaks Silicon Valley nägu.

USA tehnoloogia tööstusharu on kriitika all, et seal on juhtivpositsioonil meestest juhid ja investorid.

AOLil on 10 miljoni dollariline naiste veetud idufirmade fond. Comcastil on 20 miljoni dollariline rahvusvähemuste idufirmade fond.
